Description: | Batumi is the second-largest city in Georgia with 150,000 inhabitants. It is situated at the Black Sea.
The German Development Bank (KfW) has funded the rehabilitation of urban infrastructure since many years. In particular KfW supports infrastructure in the fields of water supply and sanitation. In this context a main sewage collector with a length of 1,500 metres has to be designed and implemented including corresponding infrastructure, (e.g. secondary sewers incl. house connec-tions parallel to the main collectors on each side of the road, connection of secondary sewers to collector from cross-roads, extension of existing reinforced concrete pipe, inlet of pumping station etc.).
