Description: | In September and October 2012 the Johanniter carried out a first fact-finding mission in Jordan and Lebanon to assess the situation of Syrian refugees. As a consequence the Johanniter opened an office in Amman, Jordan in January 2013. Since then projects were mainly realised in the field of health, shelter and the distribution of NFIs.
In this context the Johanniter want to extent their project activities to Iraq. Possible focus of the projects could be in the fields of health and WASH (e.g. schools, host families). Main regional focus of the assessment were the governorates Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.
